How much is the Wimbledon 2022 final prize money as even runner up gets over £1 million?

Novak Djokovic and Nick Kyrgios go toe to toe in this year's Wimbledon men's singles final at SW19.

It is the Australian Kyrgios' first Grand Slam final showing, while Djokovic is bidding to be crowned king of Wimbledon for the seventh time in his career.

How much is the prize money for the men's Wimbledon final winner?

The winner of the Centre Court match will receive a cool £2million . A fairly sizeable increase on the £1.7m Djokovic himself scooped last time out in 2021.

How much will the runner-up get?

Whoever loses out on Sunday will still get £1,050,000 .

Are men and women winners paid the same?

Yes. Wimbledon has dished out the same prize money for men and women winners for 15 years after bringing it into being for the 2007 Championships.

That means Elena Rybakina will have come away with £2m after beating Ons Jabeur in Saturday's women's singles final showpiece.
