Holly Willoughby has said her new YouTube show was born out of “seeing how my kids view stuff”.

The TV presenter, 45, launched a new lifestyle channel called Together on Tuesday, with Hollywood actor Stanley Tucci as the first guest.

The former This Morning host is mother to Harry, 17, Belle, 15, and Chester, 11, with her husband Dan Baldwin.

Speaking on The Sara Cox Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2, she said: “It’s basically all the things I love; fashion, beauty, cooking, showbiz and real-life stories, and I’ve put them together in one place.

“It was born out of seeing how my kids view stuff.

“It feels like there’s this whole new world of opportunity where you can create these mini-worlds and people can come and find you.”

Willoughby’s children have been amused by her attempts to get used to the world of YouTube.

She said: “My daughter was laughing at me as I was saying, ‘Subscribe and ding the bell and you’ll get notifications’ and she was like, ‘Mum, you really don’t know what you’re talking about.’ No I don’t, but I’m learning.”

Together is produced by Hungry Bear Media, which is co-owned by Willoughby’s husband.

Speaking about working with Baldwin, Willoughby said: “I had this idea and I was like, ‘Who better to make it and who do I trust more?’

“Hungry Bear make the best shows. It was a no-brainer, really.”

Elsewhere during the interview, Willoughby spoke about the early days of her showbusiness career, when she was scouted by modelling agency Storm Management as a teenager.

She said: “I was really young, on a school trip. I remember being on the school bus on the way home being so excited.

“They gave you a badge saying, ‘Spotted by Storm’. I think I kept it on for six months straight.”

Willoughby fronted ITV’s This Morning for 14 years but stepped down in 2023, months after her co-host Phillip Schofield left after admitting to an “unwise, but not illegal” affair with a young male colleague.

She continued to present ITV’s Dancing On Ice until it was announced in March 2025 that the show would be “rested” with no further plans for another series.

Holly Willoughby Together will release two episodes per week and is available on YouTube, streaming platforms and across social media.
