Has former Bigg Boss contestant Arun bagged a role in Salman Khan's 'Sikandar'?- Pics Inside

In an exciting update from the 'Sikandar' film set in Hyderabad, a former 'Bigg Boss' contestant has seemingly secured a role in the Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna starrer.

Arun Srikanth Mashettey, a Bigg Boss 17 finalist (Top 5), was spotted on the film's grand sets at the Falaknuma palace. Taking to his Instagram handle, Arun shared a photo he clicked with Salman. In the pic, he appeared to be in an all-white driver's uniform, prompting speculation about his role in the upcoming film.

In a video he later shared on his handle, Arun was quizzed about his time on the sets and asked if he would be seen in the film. Keeping coy on the matter, he replied, "Watch the film."

Recalling the time he saw Salman shooting for 'Tere Naam' at a city college, and went home crying as he couldn't watch the performance as he was too small. "That was then and this is now. Salman Bhai knows me. It feels great that he said 'Ah, Arun Mashettey!'"

Known for his jovial nature and charismatic presence on Bigg Boss, fans claimed that Salman always 'liked' Arun and hence it was no wonder that he picked him for a role in the film.

'Sikandar' is poised to be one of 2025's most anticipated releases. According to media reports, the film sets are under high security following the multiple death threats the actor received over the past months. The latest threat came over the weekend, prompting the actor and film crew to amp up security measures on the film sets.
