Taco Bell’s Cantina menu has been all the rage since last year because of its unique, savory flavors. In fact, Yum! Brands reported that one out of four orders contained Cantina Chicken. As a result, it became a permanent menu item.
But like any dish, it can become tiresome to make, especially for this Taco Bell employee who claims ordering several Cantina Crispy Tacos will guarantee sending them and fellow workers into a rage.
“How to [expletive] off a Taco Bell worker,” Nevada-based Taco Bell worker Sam (@samussy07) writes in the on-screen text. Then, he shares his secret.
“All you have to do is order more than two of those Cantina Crispy Tacos,” he says. Because they can be frustrating to assemble, this can be a quick way to irritate them. “They’re a pain, especially if you see they’re slammed with orders,” he explains. “Order 10 of those, they might go out there and choke you with their bare hands themselves.”
In the caption, Sam writes this is a “Guaranteed Crashout ngl.”
Viewers had mixed reactions
Some viewers had no plans to stop ordering them.
“Oohhh that’s why they [were] upset at me when I ordered today. no worries I’ll be back tomorrow just for the tacos,” one viewer remarked.
“Me in the app right now about to order 4,” another said.
Because of its high demand, a third asked, “Is that why my Taco Bell has taken it off of mobile ordering and [hasn’t] put it back since?”
Meanwhile, Taco Bell employees were empathetic, expressing their grievance.
“Someone got a ‘Party pack’ of them yesterday my god,” one user stated.
“More than 4 quesadillas, more than 1 party pack, more than 2 cantina crispy tacos, you will see the fastest energy shift,” a second added.
What is on the Cantina Crispy Taco?
On Taco Bell’s website, these ingredients are packed in a white corn shell tortilla with a grilled cheese outer layer:
- Slow-roasted chicken
- A blend of mozzarella, pepperjack, and cheddar cheeses
- Creamy Jalapeño sauce
Can individual Taco Bell stores remove menu items in the app?
Indeed, they can. Although the Cantina items are on the menu nationwide, some locations may not offer them due to a shortage or product unavailability.
