There's growing concerns for a missing Scots man who has vanished from home.

Christopher Gallagher, from Dundee, was last seen in Alyth, Perth and Kinross, at around 6.30pm on Friday, January 20. Officers are scouring CCTV footage for the 30-year-old and they have appealed for information.

Christopher is described as being around 5 foot 5 in height, with short brown hair. When last seen he was wearing a black tammy hat, dark jeans, a blue polo shirt and a dark hooded jacket.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Extensive enquiries are under way to locate Christopher with officers continuing to speak to family and friends in an effort to find out where he may have gone.

"Officers are also checking any relevant CCTV footage for any additional information.

"His family is growing increasingly concerned and just want to know he is safe and well."

Anyone who may have seen Christopher, or who has any information as to his whereabouts, is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 2142 of January 20.
