Google is Testing AI-Driven Google Finance

Google is experimenting with a redesigned version of Google Finance that puts AI at the center of the experience. The update is already rolling out to the users in the U.S. and is claimed to make researching financial information faster and more comprehensive.

The main highlight of this update is that it allows you to ask detailed finance-related questions directly and receive AI-generated responses. Earlier, users had to manually search for individual stock or market details. However, with this AI makeover, you will get analysis, insights, and links to relevant sources on the web.

Apart from that, the new Google Finance also comes with the advanced charting tools that go beyond basic performance graphs. It shows you technical indicators like moving average envelopes, switching to candlestick charts, and adjusting settings for deeper market analysis.

Real-time market coverage is another key addition. The updated platform now comes with a live news feed and expanded market data, covering commodities and more cryptocurrencies, along with the traditional stock information.

When it comes to the availability part, it is available on google.com/finance for select users in the U.S., with the option to switch back to the classic design. According to the company, the new interface will roll out more broadly over the coming weeks.

However, this is not the only update from the house of Google. Recently, the company has added a new Storybook feature in Gemini AI. It allows you to create illustrated, narrated digital books from simple prompts, offering a range of visual styles and personalization options. While unrelated to finance, both updates reflect Google’s push to embed AI tools across its services.
