GMB's Kate Garraway makes sly dig at Prince Harry as she says it's 'never a quiet day'

Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway appeared to make a sly dig at Prince Harry after his shocking Today interview.

The presenter anchored the show today alongside Adil Ray, with a lot of the discussion on the ITV breakfast show about the short clip, where Harry made a number of admissions, including that he wanted to "protect" his grandmother - who he recently met up with alongside Meghan - as well as saying that the United States was now his home.

Kate and Adil were discussing the new clip, and the television star admitted there was "seemingly never a quiet day" with the royals.

Speaking about the interview, Kate described it as "strange", adding: "It's strange isn't it? Yesterday we were saying, oh isn't it a lovely thought that he might be there on the balcony with Meghan, and it would be a warm thing. Now maybe this has changed it all. There's seemingly never a quiet day, is there, in the life of Harry and Meghan and their relationship with the Royal family."

Adil then added: "It could be perfectly innocent. I love my grandmother and want to protect my grandmother - who knows?"

In the short clip, Harry spoke of his meeting with the Queen.

"Being with her, it was great," he said, "It was just so nice to see her … She’s on great form. She's always got a great sense of humour with me and I'm just making sure she's protected and got the right people around her.

"Yes, I did [make her laugh]. Both Meghan and I had tea with her and it was really nice to catch up with her."

During the chat, he also admitted that America was his "home" now.

The full interview is expected to drop later today, where Harry will chat about the Invictus Games. Harry met up with the Queen at Windsor Castle before the Invictus Games in the Netherlands and said it was "great" to see his grandmother.
