GMB fans urge Susanna Reid to 'stay safe' as she is set to report from Ukraine border

Susanna Reid is set to report from the Ukraine Border for a special interview on Good Morning Britain in the morning.

The 51-year-old presenter will be in Poland on April 25 speaking to seven-year-old refugee Amelia, who went viral last month after singing Frozen’s ‘Let It Go'' from a bunker in Kyiv. Susanna will be seen standing at the Polish-Ukrainian border as she conducts the special interview.

Richard Madeley will be co-presenting as he hosts the rest of the show from the ITV studio in London as normal. Susanna announced the news on her Twitter account, as she shared an image of her alongside Amelia and her mum Lilia.

The journalist wrote: "TOMORROW: I am @gmb in Poland with a special interview with Amelia & her mum Lilia. The 7 year old who sang “Let it Go” in the Kyiv bomb shelter has became a symbol of her nation. And I’ll be reporting from the Polish-Ukrainian border live from 6am Monday #GMB"

Fans of the presenter replied with well wishes, with many urging her to 'stay safe'. Sean said: "Good luck tomorrow morning Susanna Reid and please please stay safe as much as you can."

Tasha said: "Please stay safe tomorrow! Looking forward to this interview." Meanwhile, John said: "Looking forward to your interview tomorrow Susanna by your beautiful self in Poland. Take care of yourself out there and stay safe."

Angela said: "I could never forget that beautiful little girl singing that song. She was a ray of sunshine in that darkened bomb shelter. She really lifted everyone’s spirits. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow in Poland. And the interview with Amelia and her mum."

Good Morning Britain tomorrow from 6am on ITV and ITV Hub
