Glasgow theatre school owner hopes to impress on The Apprentice

Glasgow star Reece Donnelly has reportedly signed up for The Apprentice 2023.

The budding entrepreneur, who founded Theatre School Scotland in 2017, has had a number of the TV appearances under his belt that viewers may recognise him from.

Reece has also appeared on Britain's Got Talent in 2012 at just 15, as well as Waterloo Road, TV adverts for T-Mobile, and voice-over work for Nickelodeon.

Reece's passion for acting came after landing his first acting role on CBBC at the age of six years old. He is now joining The Apprentice to battle it out against other entrepreneurs to become Lord Sugar's next business partner.

The theatre school boss graduated from the University of Sunderland with a BA(Hons) degree in Drama and set up his business in 2017 at just 20 years old.

The school's website boasts that some of their impressive students can be seen on the BBC, Netflix, CBBC, Cbeebies, and even on Disney.

His school offers one-to-one sessions, state-of-the-art studios, as well as monthly visits from top casting agents. Proud boss Reece often shares the work of his students on social media, most recently the school's festive pantomime in the SECC this year.

Reece's casting comes after Lord Sugar banned contestants who had appeared on other shows from taking part in his reality show. Lord Sugar previously said back in 2011 he wanted to ban fame-hungry stars from The Apprentice.

He stuck by the ban last year saying: "If anybody has appeared somewhere before on a television programme, and it had it been scrutinised in the auditioning process by the BBC, and if they've accepted it, it's most probably because their appearance was incidental or not of significance."
