A man has been seriously injured following a serious assault in North Glasgow last night.
Police were alerted to the Vaila Street area of Lambhill around 9:30pm in the wake of the vicious attack.
The man was rushed by ambulance to Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

Officers describe his injuries as 'serious, not life-threatening'.
Police say they are following a positive line of enquiry and have issued an appeal for anyone with information to contact them.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Around 9.30pm on Saturday, 28 May, 2022, police were called to the Vaila Street area of Glasgow, following a report of the serious assault of a 27-year-old man.
"The man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
"Officers are following a positive line of enquiry and anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting incident 3794 of 28 May, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous.”
