Frantic search launched for missing Glasgow man after 'out of character' disappearance

A frantic search has been launched for a Glasgow man following his "out of character" disappearance. Brian Lundie, 41, has been reported as missing from the Ballieston area in the city.

He was last seen on Kelburne Gardens at around 4.30pm on Wednesday, March 1. His family are growing increasingly concerned about his welfare and police have launched a public appeal for information.

Brian is described as being white, 5ft6in tall, of stocky build and bald. He was last seen wearing a dark green Nike tracksuit with a hooded top and black Adidas trainers.

Officers have "a number of resources" our looking for Brian. Inspector Scott, from Shettleston Police station, said: "Brian has been missing for a number of hours now and, this is completely out of character for him.

"His family is understandably worried about it. We have a number of police resources out looking for Brian, and I am now looking for assistance from the public. ".
