If Fortnite is about to welcome The Boys, the island could soon see its most twisted take on superheroes yet, where the people behind the capes are just as dangerous as the villains.
A new leak by SamLeakss on X suggests that Epic Games is working on a crossover with The Boys, with the collaboration potentially arriving later this season. While there’s no official confirmation yet, early details indicate the event could include not only character skins but also themed car cosmetics, adding another layer to Fortnite’s expanding vehicle ecosystem.
As with most major collaborations, speculation has quickly turned to which characters could arrive with the crossover. Homelander is the most obvious candidate, given his status as the face of the series. His Superman-like appearance, paired with his unstable personality, could translate into one of Fortnite’s more unique skins, possibly even featuring reactive elements or themed emotes inspired by his powers.
On the other side, Billy Butcher would be a natural fit as well, bringing a grounded, anti-hero presence to the roster. His rugged aesthetic and no-nonsense attitude could easily be adapted into the game’s style, potentially alongside cosmetics that reflect his ongoing war against Supes.
Other potential additions include Starlight and A-Train. Starlight could offer visually striking effects tied to her energy-based abilities, while A-Train’s speed could inspire traversal-themed emotes or animations.
Beyond skins, the reported inclusion of car cosmetics is particularly noteworthy. Fortnite has leaned more heavily into vehicles in recent updates, and a The Boys-themed set could introduce Vought-branded wraps, darker visual designs, or even stylized vehicles that reflect the show’s gritty tone.
With the current narrative tensions involving The Foundation and the Ice King, a The Boys crossover could also open the door for a limited-time mode that pits The Seven against Fortnite’s own iconic factions. It would not only tie into the ongoing storyline but also give the crossover a more meaningful gameplay hook beyond cosmetics.
This wouldn’t be the first time Fortnite has tapped into major IPs. Epic Games has consistently brought in crossovers from across film, television, and comics, ranging from superhero-heavy collaborations with Marvel and DC to more grounded, character-driven additions. That flexibility makes The Boys a fitting, if slightly edgier, addition to the game’s ever-growing multiverse.
The crossover remains unconfirmed for now, but if the leak proves accurate, players may not have to wait long before Vought’s most infamous heroes drop into the Battle Royale.
