We are less than a month away from the release of Football Manager 26, and after the cancellation of Football Manager 25 due to complications from moving the game over to the Unity engine, virtual managers around the world are champing at the bit for the opportunity to find their next save. Completing the line-up for the new season, Football Manager 26 Touch launches on Apple Arcade from November 4
A decade ago, Sports Interactive launched the series’ latest foray into mobile gaming with Football Manager Touch 2016, a version of the management sim optimized to work on mobile devices, using a simplified approach while still maintaining the tactical depth and play fans loved. The game was popular with both players looking for a less-taxing version of the game than the desktop version and those looking to play on the go, such as using FM to pass a work commute while chasing glory. When Football Manager 26 drops this year, it will do so with a companion touch version available, and subscribers to the Apple Arcade service will be delighted to hear that the game is coming to the service.
Apple Arcade is a subscription service, available for $6.99 per month or $49.99 per year, and grants subscribers access to a library of games made available to subscribers for free as long as their account remains in good standing and the game remains on the service. Learning that Football Manager Touch 26 will be on the service from its launch day on November 4th means any Apple Arcade subscribers can get on the digital touchline as soon as possible. The two-year wait for a new Football Manager is nearly over, and with good news like this dropping, it just makes more for fans to be excited about.
