We’ve officially reached the pointy end of Farmer Wants A Wife (FWAW) Australia 2026, and it wouldn’t be finale week without a massive plot twist! For Farmer Dylan‘s Scarlett, this twist almost sent her packing. But does she now regret her decision to stay in the game?

This year’s FWAW has truly been delivering when it comes to the drama, with Farmer Dylan unfortunately being rocked with a dramatic walk-out last week.
To give you a quick recap, Dylan’s front-runner Ally sent shockwaves on his farm after she left without saying goodbye. The reason? Because Dylan kissed intruder Keely during their solo date, which was the farmer’s last solo date for the season.
After Dylan learned of Ally’s abrupt departure, the rodeo cowboy went and found the 23-year-old. Although he said he was “disappointed”, Dylan asked for Ally to return.

While Ally didn’t return to the farm straight away, the choccie shop assistant made a splash at the annual black-tie dinner, where she was welcomed back by Dylan with open arms (and an open mouth).
The make-up and make-out sesh was spotted by Farmer Jason, Poppy, Logan and Keely, who then told Scarlett. The pro horse polo player then called out Dylan and Ally for their disrespect.
In one final one-on-one chat, Scarlett threatened to leave over his decision to welcome back Ally. But ultimately, after an awkies apology from the cowboy, she decided to stay.
Does Scarlett regret staying on Farmer Wants A Wife after Ally returned?
While many fans sided with Scarlett when it came to telling Dylan off for the disrespect, the 22-year-old insisted that she doesn’t regret staying, despite what happened at the black-tie dinner.
“I don’t regret that decision. I think everything played out how it was meant to play out. I think I learned so many valuable lessons by staying,” she told PEDESTRIAN.TV before adding why she ripped Farmer Dylan a new one during the big shebang.
“I think one of the reasons why I stood up for myself in that moment, and not just for me, but also for Keely, is because I think us girls need a voice,” she said.
“We need to stand up when we feel like we’ve been disrespected, and I don’t want young girls to watch the show and not stand up for themselves.”
Furthermore, Scarlett revealed why she decided to stay — despite the disrespect — sharing that at the time she felt the need to “stick it out”.
“I had this bit of hope that maybe he would choose me, and maybe I need to stick this out,” she explained.
“I need to stay true to myself, and I think one of the biggest things that I’ve learned is in these situations you can’t like running isn’t always the answer. As much as you’re scared and you want to run, sometimes you need to face things head-on.”

While Scarlett was extremely vocal about how she didn’t think Ally deserved a chance to return, she admitted that she had a feeling on the day that she would be making one more appearance.
“I had this feeling. People say I have psychic abilities,” Scarlett laughed.
“I was like, ‘I know she’s coming back on this night.’ And when we were doing the honesty box at the table, I was all over the place.”
While Scarlett ultimately decided to ride her FWAW journey all the way to the end — despite how Ally and Dylan made he feel — fans praised her for her brutal honesty.
“I think she is very mature, definitely growing on me. She’s held herself very well through the whole show,” one person wrote in a FWAW Facebook fan group.
“MVP award goes to… Scarlett,” another fan penned.
“I don’t adore her. But I so admire her for standing up to him as she did,” wrote a third.
So far, we won’t know if Dylan picks Scarlett or Ally, but something in my boots tells me it’s going to be Ally… especially after THAT snog.
