Emmerdale spoilers for next week: Chloe and Mack twist and a return rattles Nicky

Emmerdale spoilers for next week confirm one character is faced with a big decision to make on the ITV soap.

With their wedding just weeks away, Nicky Miligan is desperate to confess the truth to partner Gabby Thomas, not really wanting to marry her.

As a familiar face returns to the village to confront him, will Nicky end up spilling the beans?

Elsewhere, Chloe Harris goes back on her claims about wanting nothing to do with Mackenzie Boyd, the father of her baby son Reuben.

But she's left acting on her feelings and making a pass at him in upcoming scenes, so will Mack and Chloe end up together? Here's the biggest moments of the week ahead in the Dales...

Nicky Miligan faces fresh turmoil next week (ITV)

A return rattles Nicky

Nicky Miligan faces fresh turmoil next week in the lead-up to his wedding to Gabby Thomas.

After several attempts to pull out of a secret revenge plan against the Tates with his dad Caleb Miligan, he's left panicked as his stag do approaches next week.

Spoilers reveal the troubled character pushes ahead with the plan reluctantly, but the growing pressure of what is expected of him leaves him struggling.

Matters are made worse when a character returns to the village and leaves Caleb worried his plan is about to fall apart just as it finally seems to be getting somewhere.

Viewers know that Caleb is the secret son of Frank Tate, the late husband of Kim Tate. Caleb wants to avenge his dad's death in 1997 believing Kim killed him, somehow hearing that she was involved.

Caleb wants revenge on Kim and to fleece her for everything she owns, believing it was his dad's fortune and belongs to him.

He's tasked Nicky with marrying Gabby, the mother of Kim's grandson Thomas Tate, in the hope of getting every bit of her fortune.

But viewers know that Nicky is gay and is secretly seeing lover Ally, the person he truly loves and wants to be with - despite telling him to leave earlier this month.

Ally returns to the village to confront Nicky about the wedding and him dumping him, still not knowing the full story.

Nicky agrees to meet with him the next day, but will Caleb catch them together and will it lead to Nicky ending their plan?

Chloe and Mack twist

Chloe Harris acts on her feelings for Mackenzie Boyd (ITV)

Chloe Harris acts on her feelings for Mackenzie Boyd next week, after their fling tore apart his marriage to Charity Dingle.

Chloe slept with Mack last summer and fell pregnant, and after she decided to keep the baby he ruled out a romance and refused to be a part of his child's life.

Instead he kept the news from partner Charity and proposed to her, with them getting married last month.

Chloe gave birth around this time and baby son Reuben faced serious health issues, as he was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis.

As a result, Mack realised he did care for his son and did want to be involved in his life - leading to the moment Charity found out the devastating truth.

Mack and Charity seem to be over as she reels from his betrayal, while it has been teased they could reunite. But new spoilers for the ITV soap have revealed Chloe takes her chance with a newly single Mack, as they continue to bond over their son.

Mack is spending more time with her and the baby, and in upcoming scenes Chloe decides she wants a relationship with him.

After spending the day together, Mack walks Chloe and baby Reuben home and commits to his son. Chloe reads into this though and leans in for a kiss, leaving Mack stunned and soon he is rejecting her.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
