Emmerdale's Dawn in danger as she rescues orphan after pal's tragic overdose

Emmerdale 's Dawn Taylor will find herself in a sticky situation next week after the unexpected death of her best friend.

New ITV spoilers reveal that Dawn ( Olivia Bromley ) will be left devastated when she finds out about the passing of her close pal Beth, who has died from an overdose.

She is initially unsure if she’ll attend the funeral, but buoyed by husband Billy Fletcher’s support, Dawn resolves to attend the ceremony.

After the funeral, Dawn and friend Jade reflect on their past and although she knows it's not a good idea, Dawn agrees to go back to Jade’s house.

Upon arriving, Dawn finds a child at Jade’s threadbare home and is bewildered when, a now drugged-up, Jade reveals the child is Beth’s daughter Clemmie.

She's even more shocked when Jade reveals that Clemmie still doesn't know that her mother has died.

Dawn is unnerved when a dangerous man walks in and she tries to help Clemmie by offering to take her home with her for safety and even offers them money.

When the situation turns nasty, Clemmie grabs Dawn’s hand and after an exchange of money and her shoes, Dawn and Clemmie flee the scene.

When Dawn arrives back in the village with Clemmie, Billy ( Jay Kontzle ) implores her to call social services and is worried when Dawn refuses to do so.

Billy ends up agreeing to letting Clemmie stay with them for one night, but can Billy convince Dawn to do the right thing and call social services? Or will she beg Billy to let them keep the child?
