Emmerdale fans spot 'obvious' blunder as killer Meena finally returns to village

Emmerdale fans have spotted an "obvious" blunder as serial killer Meena Jutla finally returned to the Dales.

In scenes airing on the ITV soap tonight, fans were left divided as the killer made her on-screen return, visiting the church to issue a chilling threat ahead of Billy Fletcher and Dawn Taylor's wedding.

However, fans were left distracted by a big blunder as Meena watched Dawn and Billy make amends during tonight's show, after falling out when Billy was briefly arrested for allegedly assaulting Dawn's ex Alex.

Viewers of the ITV soap couldn't believe there was such an obvious mistake as they took to Twitter to vent their frustrations.

"How did they not see Meena then # Emmerdale," one wrote, as a second added: "Nice shot of Meena there. I mean she was standing in the middle of the street for everyone to see, but a nice shot all the same #Emmerdale."

A third shared: "The hoodie always hides Meena. Never works for me #emmerdale," with a fourth writing on social media: "Apparently all you need to do is wear a hoodie to go unnoticed in a small village?! Who knew?! #Dawn #Billy #Meena #Emmerdale."

"Meena watching everyone in plain sight yet not one person ever sees her #Emmerdale," a fifth wrote.

In chilling scenes, Meena arrived at the empty church ahead of the Valentine's Day wedding.

"Here comes the bride," she said, beginning with a song, "Me. Dawn. Wearing white, lol. The only one stupid and desperate enough to have me, let's face it and ignore the fact, half of the village has had me too.

"Yes Billy Fletcher is actually waiting to say his solemn vows. I, village bike, take thee, village idiot, all that I have I give to you. In fact, you're probably riddled with it already."

"No laughing at the back, because it is serious - ok? Pledge to have and to hold from this day forward. To love and to cherish, forsaking all warnings clearly given in bright red paint," Meena shouted as she lost control.

She then issued a chilling warning to Billy and Dawn, adding: "Did you honestly think you could do this - to me? Do you, Meena Jutla, solemnly swear to teach them a lesson? Oh I do! Have your wedding, make your vows! 'Til death do you part."

*Emmerdale is on ITV every weekday at 7pm.
