Universal Pictures' "One Night Only" celebrated its New York premiere Monday night at the SVA Theater, drawing a stacked red carpet ahead of the romantic comedy's August 7 theatrical release.
The event brought out stars Callum Turner and Monica Barbaro, who lead the film as Owen and Allie, two strangers navigating New York City on the one night of the year premarital sex is legal, according to the film's official synopsis. Director Will Gluck, known for "Easy A" and "Anyone But You," also attended alongside a broad supporting cast that included Molly Ringwald, Julia Fox, Maya Hawke, Este Haim, Ziwe, King Princess, Ben Marshall, Nicholas Braun, Michelle Hurd, LeVar Burton, Okieriete Onaodowan and Quintessa Swindell.
Turner made his first red carpet appearance as a married man alongside wife Dua Lipa, marking the couple's public debut as newlyweds since their wedding earlier this summer.
On the fashion front, Dua Lipa wore a custom black Ferragamo gown styled by Lorenzo Posocco, featuring a plunging halter neckline with a scarf detail and a textured skirt, according to Yahoo and multiple fashion outlets. She completed the look with jewel-toned earrings, ear cuffs and a gold bracelet. Turner wore a navy double-breasted Louis Vuitton suit paired with a pale yellow shirt and a brown-and-yellow striped tie.
Barbaro turned heads in a Dior Resort 2027 gown, an ivory design with a draped cowl neckline that dipped into a plunging silhouette, held up by thin spaghetti straps, per TheFashionSpot. The dress featured an oversized floral shoulder detail with pale blue feather-like ruffles, echoing the piece's original runway presentation. She paired the gown with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and a Saidian Vintage Jewels ring, and wore her hair in loose waves with chandelier earrings worn asymmetrically in one ear, according to Just Jared.
Este Haim, who composed the film's score with Christopher Stracey and also appears in the cast, wore Louis Vuitton. Ringwald's look was credited to the label Lein, per Just Jared's reporting on the event.
The film's ensemble cast reflects Gluck's broader approach to the project, which reporters covering the premiere described as incorporating detailed New York City texture throughout its visual style. Barbaro, speaking on the carpet, discussed her character Allie's arc in the film, noting the role extends beyond a straightforward romantic lead.
