Dancing On Ice fans in hysterics as Mr Blobby causes chaos during live show

Dancing On Ice fans were left in hysterics during Sunday night’s show when Mr Blobby crashed onto the set.

Viewers watched as he fell on top of Jordan Banjo and accidentally pulled Oti Mabuse’s hair as hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby were addressing the audience.

Mr Blobby continued to create carnage when he ran towards the camera and soon ended up on the ice with Willoughby warning him to be careful before he started doing snow angels on the rink.

Fans at home took to Twitter in their droves to share that they were both equally terrified and delighted by the Noel Edmunds show favourite on their screens again.

One viewer tweeted: “Mr Blobby is my Dancing on Ice winner.”

“Ashley looked TERRIFIED when Mr Blobby came out,” another remarked.

A third added: “Never thought I’d see the day when Mr Blobby traumatised Ashley Banjo and Oti Mobuse on Dancing on Ice.”

“It doesn’t matter how old I get, Mr Blobby still has the ability to put a beaming smile on my face!” another wrote. “Make him a contestant next year!”

Former EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer became the fourth celebrity contestant eliminated from Dancing On Ice on Sunday.

Palmer, 50, and her professional partner Matt Evers were beaten by comedian Darren Harriott, 34, and skating pro Tippy Packard in the skate-off on ITV’s celebrity dancing show.

All four judges opted to save Harriott as they praised his technique.

Christopher Dean said both celebrities were a “joy” to watch, but for him “it is about the skating”.

Head judge Jayne Torvill said: “Both couples this week have shown a great improvement so it’s a shame to lose one of them.”

Palmer, who is now a DJ in the US, said: “I’ve met the best people ever and we’ve been like one big family. Everyone on this show (is a) truly beautiful (person).”
