A cyclist was rushed to hospital in a critical condition after a crash involving a car in south London.
Police said the man in his 20s had suspected life-changing and life-threatening injuries following the collision in Dog Kennel Hill, East Dulwich.
Emergency services including an Air Ambulance helicopter were scrambled to the scene on the busy main road shortly after 11am on Friday.
The road was closed for several hours as emergency services dealt with the incident.
The man was taken to hospital. There has been no further update on his condition so far.
The Metropolitan Police said there have been no arrests and enquiries are ongoing.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 11:03hrs on Friday, 5 June following reports of a collision between a car and a cyclist on Dog Kennel Hill, East Dulwich.
“Officers attended alongside London Ambulance Service. A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with suspected life-changing and life-threatening injuries.
“There were no arrests and police enquiries are ongoing to determine the circumstances of the crash. Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting CAD2820/5JUN.”
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 11.02am today (4 June) to reports of a road traffic collision in Dog Kennel Hill, SE22.
“We sent resources including an ambulance crew, paramedics in fast response cars and an incident response officer to the scene. We also dispatched a helicopter from Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex.
"We treated a patient at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre by road."
