With cinemas back open, we can now go out and enjoy our favourite films on the big screen.
But for those who want a more private experience, without the rustling of sweet wrappers or crunching of popcorn, there’s a little hut outside of Cardiff that can offer just that.
The Cosy Cinema in Bro-Morgannwg is just an eight-minute walk from Dinas Powys station and allows two guests to stream their favourite movies, box sets or sports events.
With a king bed and a shower room, guests can stay overnight to enjoy the full experience of the cosy cinema.
While the cinema doesn’t come with kitchen services, guests are able to order takeaways to the hut.
The cinema room also comes with a ‘Cosy Kiosk,’ offering sweet and savoury snacks for £1 each. There’s even a PS4 for gamers to use.
Guests are also able to log into their own Netflix and similar accounts to pick off watching where they left off.
A range of media is available, including Netflix, Disney+, Prime, Sky TV and YouTube. You can also log into your own PS4 account.
Locals can also rent out the Airbnb for a three-hour showing if they don’t want the full all-nighter experience.
According to the Cosy Cinema Instagram - where you can book your stay - more brand new pods are being built for more people to enjoy the experience.
As well as providing towels and bedding for overnight stays, the pod has heating, WiFi and parking on the premises is free.
Guests can either book Bundle One for £115 (a stay from 7pm until 10am the next day) or Bundle Two for £135 (a stay from 5pm until 12pm the next day).
