Comet is an AI-powered browser agent that thinks with you, linking tools for streamlined workflows and trusted answers.

Unlike standard browsers, Comet doubles as a personal assistant that can handle tasks like scheduling meetings, generating Zoom links, drafting emails, compiling reports, and managing tabs.
The tool integrates directly with enterprise apps like Gmail, calendars, Slack, and CRMs, helping employees cut down repetitive work. In many cases, it doesn’t even need a formal integration; simply viewing apps through Comet allows smarter navigation and interaction.
Security is quite an important aspect when it comes to a tool dedicated to enterprise users. So, according to the company, the Comet comes with a SOC 2 Type II certification and GDPR and HIPAA compliance already in place. Enterprise administrators get access to permissions and controls, while end-to-end encryption ensures browsing history, search queries, and AI interactions remain private and stored locally on devices.
Furthermore, Comet accesses limited, purpose-specific data when a user explicitly requests personalised help, making it easier for enterprises to balance productivity gains with privacy concerns.
However, what makes the Comet a standout is its “agentic” AI approach, its ability to understand context and execute multi-step processes autonomously. For example, it can handle vendor research, customer analysis, or content creation without requiring constant input from the user.
Apart from that, extensions play an important role when it comes to enterprise browsers. Thankfully, the Comet is built on Chromium and maintains compatibility with existing Chrome extensions, web applications, enterprise security protocols, and single sign-on systems. IT teams can also manage permissions, monitor adoption, and roll out updates seamlessly across an organization.
Going ahead, the company plans to improve the Comet with deeper enterprise integrations, more automation features, and expanded AI model options as new capabilities become available.
However, it’s not all about Comet. The company recently introduced an AI-powered video generation feature with audio support for Pro and Max subscribers across web, iOS, and Android. This allows Pro users to create up to five AI videos per month, while Max subscribers get up to fifteen with higher-quality output and growing rate limits.
