College football fans thought Nick Saban picked up a retirement hobby after old boogie boarding video goes viral

After more than two decades as a college football head coach and 17 years at Alabama specifically, Nick Saban finally decided to call it a career this offseason.

As with most coaches who hang it up, we can expect that Saban will enjoy some leisure time after escaping the 24/7, 365-day grind that college football has become.

But after an old clip of Saban attempting to boogie board went viral this week, some fans thought he was getting into the spirit of his post-retirement life.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but unfortunately, the clip is not recent and is instead from a few years ago, before Saban’s retirement.

It may not have been perfect form, but now that Saban has some spare time on his hands, perhaps he’ll pick up a boogie board once again and become an expert.
