Clarkson’s Farm newcomer Harriet Cowan has shared her thoughts on Jeremy Clarkson’s farming abilities amid his recent disasters on site.
The nurse and farmer was a huge hit with viewers when she was drafted in by Clarkson, 65, during the series four premiere of the Prime Video series.
The 24-year-old helped out at Clarkson’s 1,000 acre Diddly Squat Farm in Oxfordshire while farm manager Kaleb Cooper was away.
Clarkson has been struggling with his Cotswolds farm this year due to the relentless drought and admitted it looks set to be their “worst year ever”.
Discussing Clarkson’s efforts as a farm owner, she said the former Top Gear host is “very much like every other farmer I’ve ever met” and “very much willing to learn”.
“He wanted to do well by the farm,” she told The Times. “He’s still very much grounded and he doesn’t let the fame and all the publicity get to him.”

Although Cowan only replaced Cooper temporarily while he was on tour around the UK, viewers have been begging for her to become a permanent addition to the docuseries.
Discussing whether she might return to Clarkson’s Farm, she recently told BBC Breakfast News: "We've always left it very open. I'm here if he needs me, but no plans at the minute.
“If he needs me, I'm here."
The Grand Tour alum Clarkson recently said they are facing a “shocking” harvest due to the heatwaves sweeping across the UK.
"I mean, if there are any farmers here, they'd tell you the same thing,” he said at the Hawkestone VIP Summer Party at his pub, The Farmer’s Dog, per GB News.
"Last year, it was the second worst recorded ever, and we think this year is going to be even worse because it just hasn't rained.”

He added that last week was the first time it had rained in four months.
Amid his farming struggles, Clarkson is due to return to viewers screens to host the new series of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? as well as its “cheeky” spin-off, Millionaire Hot Seat.
Millionaire Hot Seat will feature 18 episodes in a fast-paced version of the original format, pitting players against each other in a race against the clock.
ITV bosses said the new game is Millionaire’s “cheeky” younger sibling which gives viewers “more Jeremy” and “more money-ladder moments”.
It will hit UK screens in 2026, with filming beginning in November.
The show has already proved to be popular in Australia with over 2,500 episodes aired.
