Celtic star Matt O'Riley 'attracting' transfer interest from England and Germany with Brighton named

Matt O'Riley has interest in his services from England and Germany, according to a report.

The Celtic midfielder has impressed in Scotland since making the move from MK Dons 18 months ago under Ange Postecoglou - who has now departed the Scottish champions for a new challenge in the English Premier League with Tottenham with Daniel Levy landing his permanent successor to Antonio Conte.

The Hoops are now searching for their next boss and they could also face big decisions over a number of key players this summer. It is reported that Kyogo Furuhashi has interest from across Europe in the big five leagues, including Ange at Spurs and now O'Riley has clubs keen on his services for the new season says well-respected transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.

He has named Europa League bound Brighton as one of the clubs checking him out as they bid to strengthen the ranks with Alexis Mac Allister looking likely to join Liverpool with midfielder partner Moisés Caicedo also set for a huge summer transfer.

He wrote on Twitter: "Celtic midfielder Matt O’Riley attracting interest from England and Germany — with Brighton being one of the clubs considering him for the summer.

"Decision time in the next days/weeks, waiting for concrete proposals."

Since joining Celtic, O'Riley has played 72 times in all competitions netting eight goals and providing 16 assists.

He's tasted multiple trophy success already while also experienced Champions League football.
