Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has reportedly sent Paul Tisdale to watch Swedish central defender Victor Eriksson.
The 24-year-old currently plies his trade with Allsvenskan outfit Hammarby.
Tisdale, Celtic's head of football operations, has been sent to watch Eriksson in action against Belgian side Charleroi on Thursday night, claims The Scottish Sun.
It is said that his services are available for a 'bargain' £2 million fee.

Eriksson joined Hammarby last summer after a brief six-month stint with Minnesota in the MLS. He has since turned out 39 times for the Swedish club, scoring one goal and assisting two.
Links to Eriksson come as Celtic look set to secure the services of another central defender, Jahmai Simpson-Pusey.
The 19-year-old will reportedly undergo a medical in Glasgow tomorrow ahead of joining the Scottish Premiership champions on a season-long loan deal from Manchester City.
Simpson-Pusey has appeared six times for Pep Guardiola's first team and was named Premier League 2 Player of the Year for the 2024/25 season.
He could become Celtic's seventh summer signing, following the arrivals of Ross Doohan, Kieran Tierney, Callum Osmand, Benjamin Nygren, Hayato Inamura and Shin Yamada.
