Fans of Polish outfit Ruch Chorzow have taken to the streets of Glasgow to protest about their current stadium ban - setting off flares and singing chants outside of Ibrox and Celtic Park.
The second-tier Polish side, who were promoted from the third division via the playoffs last season, are on course for successive promotions with a three-point gap over third-placed Nieciecza, although they have encountered turbulence in their quest. Historically quite a big side, Chorzow have fallen on hard times recently, finding themselves in the third tier - symbolising a bad spell for the former European Cup quarter-finalists.
Playing at the Ruch Stadium, the local government have BOOTED them out of the ground over floodlight issues, essentially making them homeless for the time being despite their promotion push. And bizarrely, the south Polish side have taken fans en masse to Celtic and Rangers to lift a banner that says: "Nowy Stadion Dal Chorzowa", which translates to "A new stadium for Chorzowa."
The video, which was created on TikTok, shows around 20 or so protestors stood outside Parkhead's main entrance, before a blue and white pyrotechnic flare is set off outside of the ground.
The same happens again in the second half of the video, this time outside Ibrox - with the colours of the flare evidently more suited to the Govan club than that of Celtic.
It is largely unknown why the Polish club decided to target both Parkhead and Ibrox as their bases to protest being made homeless, with both clubs having no allegiances to the 14-time Polish top-flight winners.
