Cardi B says her Fashionphile partnership feels "natural" to her.
The 33-year-old rapper has signed on as the luxury resale platform's global brand ambassador for 2026, with the company hailing the Grammy Award-winner as "one of fashion’s most influential collectors”.
Cardi told WWD: “Y’all know I love a good bag. I’ve been collecting for years and I always look for the rare colors and hard-to-find pieces.
"That’s why partnering with Fashionphile felt natural to me — they really understand luxury and authenticity and they have every bag you can think of.”
She has become the company's fourth major global ambassador in recent years, following on from Martha Stewart, Nicole Richie and Emma Roberts.
The partnership will see Cardi curate an exclusive edit of her accessories including items from brands like Chanel, Goyard and Hermes, with the collection set to be available on the Fashionphile website.
The two parties have also launched the Get Your Bag campaign, which is focused on how resale is part of today's culture.
Fashionphile explained that Cardi was an obvious choice of ambassador due to her "cultural authority and genuine credibility as a collector”.
They said in a statement: "Years ago, when we first saw Cardi B organically share a story featuring a Birkin with our tags still on it, we dreamed of one day partnering with her.
“We knew she was the perfect fit for Fashionphile because she represents a new generation of luxury and embodies so much of what our brand stands for: confidence, individuality and expressing yourself on your own terms.
"Cardi has an incredibly authentic relationship with fashion and truly understands the emotional connection people have to investing in pieces that make them feel powerful."
She's known for having a huge collection of luxury handbags herself, as well as an "unapologetic, transparent approach to luxury”, which will resonate with customers.
They added: "With this campaign, we wanted to celebrate luxury as something personal, expressive and attainable in different ways, which led us right to Cardi.
"She’s unapologetic, iconic and inspires people to define success for themselves. A true representation of ‘Get Your Bag.’”
