'Can't beat my manager' - Arteta earns Arsenal vindication amid shock Aubameyang and Ozil news

Mikel Arteta came under huge criticism after his decisions to banish both Mesut Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Arsenal squads in recent years. However, it is now starting to prove that his decision has been justified.

On the same day that reports have emerged about Mesut Ozil quitting football after a turbulent spell in Turkey, it has also been announced that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been excluded from Chelsea's Champions League squad ahead of 2023/2023 knockout stages.

This seems a major win for the supporters of Arteta who stuck by his decision when both players were isolated at the club. football.london looks at Arsenal's reaction to Ozil and Aubameyang's surprising news.
