Browns: QB Deshaun Watson expected to start vs. Ravens despite cautious week

The Cleveland Browns finally found some success through air a week ago in their win against the Tennessee Titans. This week, however, quarterback Deshaun Watson Deshaun Watson has been nursing a sore shoulder that has held him to limited action during practice. He has officially been listed as questionable for this Week 4 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. However, according to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini, Watson is expected to start today’s game.

In preparation for this week’s action, Russini tweeted this out about the starting quarterback in Cleveland:

“The Browns are concerned about Deshaun Watson’s right shoulder contusion and were cautious with him all week, according to a team source. But even though he is not 100 percent, he is expected to start against the Ravens barring a Sunday morning setback.”

Rookie fifth round pick Dorian Thompson-Robinson will be ready to go just in case, and the Browns elevated veteran quarterback PJ Walker from the practice squad in case of emergency.
