Bournemouth 'plot ambitious move' for former Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa

Leeds United's Premier League rivals Bournemouth are reportedly plotting an ambitious move for former Whites' boss Marcelo Bielsa. The Athletic claims the club’s hierarchy have been in Las Vegas this week to talk with prospective new owner Bill Foley.

The Cherries have been without a manager since parting company with Scott Parker back in August and the next managerial appointment was reportedly high on the list of topics discussed. Gary O'Neil has been the interim boss since then and has certainly made his own case to take over the reins full-time.

However, with Foley's takeover imminent, Bielsa is believed to be on a list of potential candidates to fill the vacant role. The Argentinian has been out of work since leaving Elland Road last year.
