The deceased is Lakshman Rao and the injured, his classmate Venkatesh, 23, both residents of Nelamangala town.

At 9.15am, Rao was riding Venkatesh’s bike to their college in Tumakuru. The mini-truck had stopped by the roadside as its right rear wheel had gone flat.
