Ben Davies will join Oxford United on loan from Rangers today, according to reports.
The centre-back spent last season on loan at Birmingham and impressed as he helped them to the League One title. The Championship new boys were interested in having him back but that one fell apart.
He was not short of options though with Oxford and Queens Park Rangers both keen on loan deals but it looks as if he his heading for the former.
The Rangers Review has confirmed a switch is imminent and could even be completed today.

With a year left on his contract, Rangers wanted to offload the 30-year-old permanently but appear to be settling for a loan.
Davies will once again play in the English second tier where he previously featured for Preston North End.
The Ibrox club have also just sold Jefte for £6m and Russell Martin will hope those funds, plus at least part of Davies' wages being freed up, will help him make more signings before the deadline.
