Arsenal 'reach agreement' for Dusan Vlahovic transfer as Georginio Wijnaldum update emerges

Arsenal are on the hunt for business in the January transfer window, having seen the North London Derby at the weekend postponed.

The Gunners are keen on landing a new striker and a central midfielder this month, two areas within their squad where there are significant problems.

A wealth of names are being linked with a move to the Emirates this month, with business potentially on the horizon.

Arsenal's interest in signing Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic is well documented by now and a significant development has been reported in Italy, as detailed by Sport Witness.

The Gunners have reportedly presented an offer of around €75m for the striker, which includes the services of Lucas Torreira - who is currently on loan with the Florence outfit.

Crucially, Fiorentina are said to be in agreement for a deal but they, like Arsenal, are in the dark regarding what Vlahovic himself wants to do.

Elsewhere, the Telegraph states that Arsenal may have the edge in the hunt to sign former Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum as he's keen to live in London.

Newcastle United have been attributed with an interest in signing the Netherlands midfielder, who is ready to move on from Paris Saint-Germain just seven months after moving to the French capital.

Finally, Tuttomercatoweb state Pablo Mari is edging towards an exit from Arsenal as he's close to sealing a loan move to Udinese.

A deal is reported to be set to go ahead before the close of the transfer window at the end of January but a loan deal will not include a clause to make the deal permanent this summer.
