Arsenal begin the new Premier League season against Manchester United.
The Gunners head into the 2025/26 campaign having again shown progress under manager Mikel Arteta - with a Champions League semi-final berth - but, again, finished as runners-up in the league as they failed to capitalise on Manchester City’s struggles and Liverpool were crowned champions.
Arsenal’s first real test comes on the opening weekend of the new campaign as they make the trip to Old Trafford. It is part of a tough opening run for the Gunners. They meet champions Liverpool at the end of August, with the return game set for the first week in January. Manchester City are the opponents on September 20, and again on April 18, 2026.
The two north London derbies come at the end of November and at the end of February.
The traditional festive period will see Arsenal welcome Brighton to the Emirates Stadium the day after Boxing Day before another home game against Aston Villa to round off the calendar and into 2026. The season concludes with a London derby away at Crystal Palace.
