Anthropologie's Thanksgiving Dinnerware Forgoes Passing Trends for Harvest Hues and Unexpectedly Traditional Motifs – It'll Still Look Stylish in Years to Come

Table with yellow gingham tablecloth and green checkerboard drinkware.

I can always count on Anthropologie to serve up statement decor and playful pieces, but it's easy to forget that the brand can also really nail a traditional look.

As a self-confessed Anthro addict, I thought I knew what to expect from the Anthropologie Thanksgiving kitchen and dinnerware edit – but happily, I was wrong. While the collection boasts plenty of the whimsical pieces I know and love, it's tied together by some classic and elegantly nostalgic tableware that I just can't stop thinking about.

Naturally, I'll always be won over by Anthropologie's kitsch decor; I'm still swooning over the Anthropologie X New York City Ballet collection, not to mention Anthropologie's 'kitsch Christmas' holiday collection. Yet somehow, it's the more traditional tableware in the brand's Thanksgiving kitchen and dinnerware edit that has won me over.

Perhaps it's because Anthropologie's oak leaf stoneware serve bowl reminds me of my grandmother's heirloom serveware, or because I haven't spotted anything quite like the garlic garden vase before, but either way, it looks like my Thanksgiving table decor ideas will be firmly rooted in tradition this year: think rich autumnal hues, harvest-inspired motifs, and ornate platters.

Whether you're devoted to the minimalist look or you're keen to experiment, I'd say that Anthropologie's Thanksgiving kitchen and dinnerware edit is a brilliant place to start. Below, I've pulled together pieces that celebrate all the warmth and nostalgia of the season.

I should have known that Anthropologie's Thanksgiving kitchen and dinnerware edit would be full of surprises; it was a set of clear candleholders that unexpectedly stole the show in Anthropologie's 2025 fall collection, and I'll definitely be using them for my Thanksgiving table settings, too.
