VIJAYAWADA: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) on Sunday formed a five member committee with party state president K Atchennaidu, Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Payyavula Keshav, Pithani Satyanarayana and Tangirala Soumya to coordinate with Janasena. The TDP in a statement said that the committee will decide the future course of action in consultation with its Janasena counterpart
The Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan had announced that he will contest the next election in alliance with TDP after meeting TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu inside Rajahmundry central jail. Pawan condemned the manner in which Naidu was arrested in the alleged skill development scam. He also announced that a joint action committee will be formed to decide the modalities of the alliance.
Pawan has been maintaining that he will ensure the anti-incumbent vote will not get split among opposition parties. Though Janasena is in alliance with the BJP, Pawan openly came out and announced that he is joining hands with the TDP in the fight against YSRCP rule. Subsequently Pawan announced a committee with five members to chalk out the future course of action and appealed TDP to nominate its members to the joint action committee.
As the party chief N Chandrababu Naidu is in judicial remand, the TDP took time to announce its representatives. Finally, with the approval of Naidu, the TDP has announced the members of committee on Sunday. Naidu ensured that three out of five members are from backward classes and one member is from scheduled caste.
