Alfredo Morelos AND Alexis Sanchez named on transfer dream ticket as Rangers star sees old suitors return

Galatasaray want to add Alexis Sanchez to their strikeforece along with Alfredo Morelos for next season, according to reports in France.

Former Arsenal and Manchester United man Sanchez’s contract at current club Marseille is, like Morelos at Rangers, due to expire in the summer. The 34-year-old said he is keen to extend his stay at the Ligue 1 giants but his future at the Velodrome is in doubt and Galatasaray are said to be keen on the Chilean as well as fellow South American Morelos.

The Turkish side tried to land Sanchez at the start of the season when he left Inter Milan but failed in their bid as he opted for France. Galatasaray boss Okan Buruk is looking at attacking options with Mauro Icardi due to return to Paris Saint Germain in the summer when his loan deal ends. And they will move again for the striker while continuing to pursue Morelos, according to reports. The clock is ticking on the Colombian’s six-year stay in Govan and it was reported last week that his agent had held talks with Galatasaray. Previous reports that he had penned a pre-contract with Sevilla were denied.

But any chance of Morelos signing a new deal with Rangers looked bleak when Michael Beale recently said of the striker: “I need to see a little bit more from Alfredo day in, day out. When he's played and the team has needed him, he’s fine. But I want more energy in the final third.”

Sanchez said on his own future at Marseille: "I have a one-year contract in Marseille. It also depends on how I feel physically. Would I like to extend? Yes. But in football there are a lot of possibilities, it can change from day to day. Real Madrid or other teams can arrive, we don't know.”
