Aaron Rodgers shares ripped physique as New York Jets QB trains hard for new season

Not for the first time, NFL superstar Aaron Rodgers has created a buzz around the league after recent training photos of the New York Jets quarterback surfaced online.

The images shared by Proactive Sports Performance in Westlake Village, California, have sparked a unanimous consensus among fans: Rodgers looks to be in incredible physical shape. Judging by the photos, it seems that Rodgers is more than ready to tackle the new season head-on.

"P****d off Aaron Rodgers ready to prove people wrong. Cannot wait," wrote a Jets fan on the Instagram post.

"Predicting a big year for Aaron Rodgers and the Jets. I am a Giants fan, but I cannot wait to watch him on the team they have assembled," wrote another NFL fan.

The photographs depict several athletes, including Jets teammates Solomon Thomas and Duane Brown, Denver Broncos teammates Greg Dulcich and Alex Singleton, and Chicago Bears defensive end Rasheem Green going through intense repetition drills at the facility, with one identified as Rodgers. In the main image, the New York Jets signal caller can be seen holding weights in each hand while utilizing the wall for stability, showcasing an impressive muscular physique despite being in his forties.

Proactive Sports Performance has served Rodgers as a client for eight years, with the new images serving as a good sign of fortune for the upcoming season and a tremendous advertising opportunity for the facility.

Rodgers is in his first season with the Jets after spending 18 years playing for the Green Bay Packers, including a Super Bowl win in 2011. Interestingly, this was also one year after the Jets made it to their last postseason appearance in 2010. Since joining the team, there has been much discussion about the significant impact that Rodgers has had on the Jets camp led by head coach Robert Saleh.

The Jets had a disappointing season last year, despite starting well with a 7-4 record. However, their performance took a turn for the worse as they lost six games, which led to them being knocked out of playoff contention. It marked the 12th year that the team has failed to make it to the NFL playoffs and their third consecutive season with ten or more losses.

Zach Wilson's poor play at the QB position and the defense collapse was major catalyst for the team scoring only 316 points last year, ranking 29 in the league. However, Jets Saleh expressed his belief in Rodgers's ability to play the position and how his play during the pre-season has already elevated and wow'd the organization, including himself.

Although the team had a disappointing season, the arrival of Rodgers has raised hopes for success. Fanduel Sportsbook now ranks them seventh most likely to to win the Super Bowl, following the Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals, San Francisco 49ers, and Dallas Cowboys. Moreover, Rodgers is ranked seventh highest in the odds to win the AP NFL Regular Season MVP award, which he has already won four times, the latest being in 2021.

The Jets defense is expected to maintain their impressive speed and dominance in the upcoming NFL season, thanks to the successful start of last season and the addition of Rodgers. Either way, football enthusiasts can watch the revamped Jets attempt to return toward a distant playoff form across six nationally televised games this season.
