Here are some Member’s Mark home items that aren’t worth opening your wallet for, according to shopper reviews.
Member’s Mark Cement Citronella Candle
- Price: $19.96
The Member’s Mark Cement Citronella Candle, which has up to 30 hours of burn time, has proven to be a disaster for many shoppers. It has a 3.5-star rating with 21 reviews. One shopper described the item as a “catastrophic failure” because the cement holder broke while the unlit candle was sitting outside in the sun. It leaked melted candle wax (from the sun’s heat), staining their leathered granite countertop, the stone facing on their island and the floor.
Several other shoppers mentioned the same issue — the wax melting and the candle holder breaking and leaking the wax everywhere.

Member’s Mark Everwash Washable Runner
- Price: $29.98
Granted, the Member’s Mark Everwash Washable Runner has an overall 4.7-star rating with 728 reviews, but the 1- and 2-star reviews tell a different story. The rug is washable, but more than one shopper complained that the stitching on the edges came loose after washing. One shopper even stated that they thought the stitching coming loose was a fluke, so they bought another rug as a replacement. However, the same thing happened when it was washed.
Additionally, some shoppers complained that after washing the rug, the corners wouldn’t stay down.
Member’s Mark Livingston TV Console
- Price: $499.00
The Member’s Mark Livingston TV Console has a 4.1-star rating with 999 reviews. It’s functional, but also decorative. Shoppers mentioned they liked the design, but many shoppers were upset they received a damaged item. One shopper received not one, but two damaged items. And when they received a third replacement, it still wasn’t what they were expecting: doors were misaligned and a drawer was sticking.
Another shopper received three damaged items before they gave up. Paint runs and door hinge issues were other issues reviewers mentioned.
