Paris Hilton breaks silence on claims Ghislaine Maxwell 'thought she was perfect' for Jeffrey Epstein

Paris Hilton has addressed the allegation that Ghislaine Maxwell tried to recruit her for convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein when she was 19.

Maxwell’s former acquaintance, British journalist Chris Mason, claimed she expressed an interest in Hilton at a party, allegedly saying she’d be “perfect” for paeodophile financier Epstein.

"A friend of mine was at a party and Ghislaine said, 'Oh my God, who's that?' and was looking at this pretty, young, sort of teenage girl," Mason said in the 2020 documentary, Surviving Jeffrey Epstein.

He went on: "And she said, 'Do you know her?' My friend said, 'Yes, she's called Paris Hilton.' And Ghislaine said, 'God, she'd be perfect for Jeffrey. Could you introduce us?'"

A photo of Maxwell, Hilton and Donald Trump at a fashion show in September 2000 was then shown in the documentary. Hilton was 19 at the time.

The heiress and reality star addressed the sensational claims in an interview with The Sunday Times.

"I don't even remember ever meeting her,” she said.

The 44-year-old added: "I'm such a good clickbait name."

Maxwell allegedly helped entice vulnerable teenagers to Epstein’s various properties for him to sexually abuse between 1994 and 2004.

The British socialite was convicted in 2021.

Her accusers read victim impact statements during her trial, describing her as a “manipulative, cruel and merciless person.”

Jurors heard that the socialite summoned a 14-year-old girl to an orgy, groped another victim, and laid a schoolgirl outfit out for a third accuser before a sexualised massage with Epstein, because she “thought it would be fun”.

The jury found her guilty of five counts, including sex trafficking of a minor. She was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2022.

Epstein died by suicide in jail in August 2019. He was in custody on federal charges for the sex trafficking of minors.

Trump has changed his stance to urge his fellow Republicans in Congress to vote for the release of files related to Epstein, despite his earlier resistance to such a move.

“House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide,” he wrote on Sunday night.

“And it’s time to move on from this Democrat Hoax perpetrated by Radical Left Lunatics in order to deflect from the Great Success of the Republican Party, including our recent Victory on the Democrat 'Shutdown'.”

It comes after House Speaker Mike Johnson said he believed a vote on releasing Justice Department documents in the Epstein case should help put to rest allegations that Trump had any connection to Epstein's abuse and trafficking of underage girls.

Trump and Epstein were photographed together decades ago, however the US president has said the two men fell out before Epstein was brought into custody.

Emails released last week by a House committee showed the disgraced financier believed Trump “knew about the girls,” though it was not clear exactly what that phrase meant.
