Washington (AFP) - A man who plowed his sports utility vehicle through Waukesha, Wisconsin's annual Christmas parade last year, killing six people, was found guilty of murder Wednesday. 

Darrell Brooks drove his Ford Escape into the parade in Waukesha outside Milwaukee in November. The jury verdict ends a trial in which he defended himself erratically and sometimes confrontationally.

The jury found Darrell Brooks guilty of six counts of first-degree intentional homicide. He faces a mandatory life sentence on each count.
