VR46 has explained how it is already seeing the impact of its new deal with Ducati in MotoGP.

MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi has once again pointed the finger at Marc Marquez over a bitter feud that he believes cost him an eighth championship in the premier class.

Valentino Rossi’s VR46 squad made its MotoGP premier class debut in 2022 after agreeing a deal with Ducati for one factory-specification bike that went to Luca Marini, and a year-old bike that went to Marco Bezzecchi.

Marini stepped up to the premier class in 2021 with the VR46-backed side of the Avintia squad, ahead of Valentino Rossi’s team’s takeover of the latter’s grid slots for 2022.

Marco Bezzecchi's MotoGP contract with VR46 expires at the end of this year. The owner of the Ducati team for which he competes, and with which he is negotiating a contract extension, is also the same corporation that represents him.
