Police Scotland, the Scottish Ambulance Service and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene of the crash which led to road closures in a sleepy north Edinburgh community.

The Metropolitan Police have said they will only respond to mental health calls which present a risk to life.

Emergency services scrambled to the Wisp in Edinburgh after two cars collided on the busy road during rush hour on Monday.

Paramedics rushed the 18-year-old man to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where his condition has been described as 'serious but stable'. Two other teens, aged 18 and 17, were also injured.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Murrayburn Place in the Wester Hailes area of the capital at around midday following reports of an injured person.

The video shows the small hatchback repeatedly driving into the double decker.

Helena McFadden was last seen about 1.20pm on Friday, May 26, and is described as 5’2”, with long red/auburn hair and blue eyes.

Tony Ferns was in his car in Thornliebank on April 18, 2019 when he was brutally attacked.

Brodie Muir had been last seen at around 2.20pm on Sunday afternoon in Fraserburgh.

Police Scotland confirmed the incident has also been referred to the Police Investigation and Review Commissioner (PIRC).
