A new report by the National Audit Office (NAO) has warned that those with medical conditions applying for a driving licence may have a longer delay. This comes after the DVLA cleared all backlogs and returned to normal processing times earlier this year for all standard applications.

‘While the figures are highly uncertain, large amounts of error and fraud are unlikely ever to be recovered,’ the report said
