A decade ago, there were basically two names in the electric vehicle game: Tesla and Nissan. 

In Q2, all-electric car sales of Mercedes-Benz Cars amounted to roughly 45,800 and were lower by 25% than a year earlier. It brought the EV share down to 9.2%.

In Q1, all-electric car sales of Mercedes-Benz and Smart (an electric-only brand) amounted to roughly 47,500 (down 8% year-over-year).

The vans receive styling tweaks and more onboard tech.

In Q1, Mercedes-Benz Cars noted roughly 51,600 BEV sales (up 89% year-over-year from about 27,400 a year ago). That's more than 10% of the total volume.
