Elon Musk’s free speech project at Twitter is going well. The maverick billionaire has seemingly launched a wide-ranging content moderation, re-platforming and de-platforming regime at the social media platform that he acquired recently. 

Musk argued that promoting an account that tracks his private jet is a security threat.

SAN FRANCISCO — Twitter Inc. suspended the accounts of several journalists who have been covering billionaire Elon Musk, who acquired the social network in October, and that of upstart rival service Mastodon.

Press advocates said the move sets a dangerous precedent and worried about future moves against journalists who cover the billionaire.
