Nearly 18 months after the CBI arrested him, Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia was reportedly released from Tihar jail after the Supreme Court granted him bail in the liquor policy case.  

A bench of justices BR Gavai, Sanjay Karol and KV Viswanathan sought probe agency reply on Sisodia plea and listed for further hearing on July 29. Read further on Dynamite News:

Personally addressing the Rouse Avenue Court while opposing the CBI’s plea that sought his custody in connection with the Delhi excise policy case, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal denied media reports that claimed he had blamed Deputy CM Manish Sisodia for the alleged scam, LiveLaw reported.
