The accused in the case of Maharashtra journalist Shashikant Warishe’s murder  has been sent to 14-day judicial custody by a court in Ratnagiri, PTI reported. This comes days after an 11-member SIT was formed to probe the murder following directions from Maharashtra deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis.

The Rashtrapati Bhavan on Sunday announced the names for appointment on the post of 12 Governors for states and one Lieutenant Governor in the Union Territory of Ladakh. Read further on Dynamite News:

Hours after a journalist was hit by a car allegedly driven by a land dealer he wrote against, several media organisations have demanded a probe into the incident in Maharashtra’s Ratnagiri district.
