PHILADELPHIA — Chicago Bulls point guard Lonzo Ball underwent a cartilage transplant in his left knee Monday, a rare procedure that could decide the fate of his return to the court.

Lonzo Ball reportedly will undergo a third surgical procedure in an attempt to resolve the pain and discomfort in his left knee that has kept him off the court for the majority of his first two seasons with the Chicago Bulls.

It will be the third procedure he’s had done on the knee in the last 14 months, as concerns about his career only grow.

The Bulls star has not played since January of 2022.

There are 'concerns' that Ball's career may be in jeopardy.
